How many checkups and cleanings do I need each year?
Generally, we recommend that our patients schedule two of these kinds of appointments each and every year, or one per six months. This helps us identify any oral health concerns at their earliest, most harmless stages and care for them accordingly. If we believe that you need more frequent visits, we’ll be sure to let you know right away!
Do you treat whole families?
Yes! Our lengthy menu of services has something for all ages, from kid-friendly preventive care to advanced reconstructive options. We can even make sure to schedule you and your loved ones in block appointments so that the visit is as convenient and time-saving as possible.
How do I know if I have periodontal disease?
Common symptoms of periodontal disease that patients can look for at home include bleeding gums, gum tissue that’s overly swollen or red in color, severe bad breath that lingers, and a receding gum line. However, it’s important to remember that sometimes, this infection does not exhibit any noticeable warning signs until it’s already become advanced in nature. That’s just one of the reasons why attending regular professional cleanings are so important.
I’m experiencing discomfort in my jaw. Can you help?
We should be able to. Jaw discomfort is a very common sign of either bruxism (teeth grinding) or TMJ disorder, both of which can be successfully addressed with a custom-made oral appliance or bite adjustment. Our goal will be to relieve your chronic struggles and provide you with the relief you need at last!
Going to the dentist makes me nervous. Can you help me relax?
Of course! We understand that dental phobia is a serious and all-too-common issue for patients of all ages. That’s why Indigo Dental prioritizes patient comfort at every turn and even offers sedation dentistry in the form of nitrous oxide (“laughing gas) and oral conscious sedation. These techniques can help soothe frazzled patient nerves and create a genuinely relaxing atmosphere for your treatment.
Do you take my insurance?
We are an in-network provider for Delta Dental and will accept all other PPO insurance plans, filing claims on the patient’s behalf so that they can maximize their available benefits. To learn more about your financial options here in Daytona Beach, please visit our new patients page.
Do you offer any discounts?
Yes! Please visit our special offers page to see our current deals. If you see something you’re interested in, don’t hesitate to give us a call – it may be not available tomorrow!
